WatchList Report on Children In Armed Conflict Adds 11 More Countries

Watchlist on Children and Armed Conflict recently released the annual report adding eleven new countries in violation of childrens rights.

This year WatchList hopes to see the new Secretary General Antonio Guterres keep to the proposed list.

Previously the Secretary General Ban Ki Moon came under pressure in 2015 to remove Israel and in 2016 came under preassure from Saudi Arabia asking to be removed from the list of shame for its actions in Yemen, of which he removed two.

WatchList is now asking for those countries to be re added and for the Secretary General to hold countries accountable for their actions. Ashley Bianco reports from the United Nations.
